Discover the 2025 edition : tides in style!
We are proud to present the brand new 2025 edition of the Tides calendar, already available for purchase on our online platform.
Likewise, our reseller partners in their tide zone will soon have this edition…
This ninth edition, faithful to its heritage, continues to offer its users precise and official tide data for 33 areas along the French coast and a few areas in Europe, Germany, Spain, England, and Portugal.
What’s New in the 2025 Edition
New areas:
Saint-Brieuc tides
Located in the Côtes d’Armor on the Channel coast, they were missing from our catalog… We had included this area in that of Saint-Malo, so it required some corrections on your part. From this year we are adding the SHOM predictions for Le Légué, the reference port of the maritime bay. Choose this tide zone if you are located between Erquy and Saint-Quay-Portrieux.
Vannes tides
The prefecture of Morbihan in southern Brittany located at the bottom of the Gulf of Morbihan is now included in our catalog at your request. The data from Port-Navalo that we have been offering for 7 years required too much correction for this area. Choose this area for the interior of the Gulf of Morbihan.
Barfleur tides
Barfleur one of the most beautiful villages in France located in the department of Manche in Normandy.
They slip between those of Cherbourg and Port-en-Bessin. This area covers the northeastern tip of the Cotentin up to approximately Grampcamp-Maisy.
Port-En-Bessin tides
They cover the coastal territory up to approximately Colleville.
Port-en-Bessin located in the department of Calvados in Normandy is the first artisanal fishing port in Normandy, specializing in scallops.
The tides of the Spanish coast
The tidal zone of the Spanish Basque Country from Hondarribia to Asturias via San Sebastian is covered by the tide calendar of the Saint-Jean-de-Luz area. For this 2025 edition, this calendar is in French. If it is successful, we will offer a translated version in 2026.
Due to the geography of the Spanish coastline horizontal to the French Basque Country, few corrections are necessary compared to Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Only + 10 to + 30 minutes depending on the period in Gijón and therefore barely + 10 minutes in Bilbao.
The Tides of Peniche in Portugal
A mecca of Portuguese surfing, it is located in the same tidal zone as Nazaré, internationally known for its unique wave and its big wave surfing competition. The tide calendar of Portugal is in English, usable from Cascais in the north to Nazaré in the south.
On the Portuguese calendar, find the periods of high tides materialized by a yellow bar on the curve. These periods correspond to a coefficient of minimum 100 on the French coast (see the image below)
The periods of high tides on the English tide calendars
We offer 3 emblematic areas of the English coastline SALCOMBE, NEWQUAY and PADSTOW. The tides in England come and go at the same rate as on the French coastline. We position our yellow bar indicating the periods of high tides on the curve at the time when the tidal ranges are the largest of the year. These high times are at the same time on the English and French coastlines.
The high tides or “king’s tides” in English are thus visible at a glance for the whole year on the tide calendars of the 3 English zones. The coefficients in less because this notion only exists in metropolitan France.
New colours
Each year we offer new stripes to match our desires and the times.
A pastel striped model to bring colour to your interior decoration in calm tones.
A brighter striped model with more vitamins to brighten up your walls.
We keep from one year to the next, the plain tones that you like to find as well as our POP model which “twists” the design of our traditional calendar.
Safe values renewed in 2025
The same zones
This year you will find the essential tidal zones of the French coast.
To better locate yourself, consult the map or the zone guide.
Reliable and complete tide data
We buy tide predictions from the official national organizations responsible for calculating them: the hydrographic services of each country.
In France, SHOM, in England and Portugal, UKHO and BSH in Germany.
Our reproduction license number as a partner of these institutions is noted at the bottom of your tide calendar.
Customizing the title of your tide calendar: a success!
In 2024, we redesigned our site to offer you the possibility of customizing your calendar for free and viewing the result online. After a technically complicated start, you really appreciated this option and you showed a lot of imagination.
This option allows you to tell your relationship with your tidal zone and make your calendar unique. Often a story of family or friendship, activities claimed, the name of your house, your boat, your favorite beach, declarations of love… 😊
Thank you, thanks to you every day, I discover wonderful places on the coast.
Our calendar, an educational tool for little ones
It is visual, it is didactic, a child can follow the curve with his finger and thus visualize the movement of the waters.
What a pleasure to see you teach the little ones how to read predictions.
Nothing beats a beautiful illustration, especially when there are so many numbers on it.
Definitely the Tides in decoration!
It is your large-format tidal calendar with a stylish design that brightens up your walls and gives meaning to your wall decoration.
You decorate usefully and you live by the rhythm of the tides 😊
You know where to find it!
Your calendar installed at home or in the office, always within sight, allows you to anticipate and plan your activities. You simplify the tides because it is often used daily.
Enjoy your tides!
